7:00 - 9:00: Planning/preparation Time

All children arrival in a big classroom. Daycare toys, Reading , Coloring.

Toddler class teachers have to set out Montessori materials ready for children to use; conduct health and safety checks; refill bathroom and diaper changing supplies; think about individual children and any special needs.

Hello and Good-byes: As children transition from home to school, greet each child and help them say good-bye to each other.

Diapering and toileting: Check diapers and change as necessary. Take older children to the toilet as needed.

9:00 – 9: 20 Snack Time

Toddlers move to their own classroom for Snack.

Eating and mealtimes: Help children wash hands and eat ..

Wash hands after eating.

9:20 – 10:00 Play Time

10:00 - 10: 30 Spanish Class

Small group for simlpe Spanish, speacking/listening

10:30 - 11:30 Montessori Class

Montessori introduction/observation

Circle time:   Teacher gives a group lesson, introduces one Montessori material.

Montessori program: Children individual choose their own work, teachers work with children in very small group or individual.

Diapering: Change diaper as child needs.

Dressing: Change children wet or soiled clothing as necessary.

Cleanup: Help children put materials away.

11:30 - 12:10: Play Time

if play outside:

Dressing: Help children put on outerwear before going outdoors.

Outdoor play: Check the playground environment and equipment. Play balls, running, play with friends, and so on.

Dressing: Help children take off outerwear and hang up

12:10 – 1:00 Lunch Time

Diapering: Check diapers and change as necessary.

Eating and mealtimes: Help children wash hands and eat lunch.

Wash hands after eating.

1:00 – 3:30 Sleeping and nap time

Reading story, and then play soft music. Help children relax so they can fall asleep. The teachers share duties so each teacher gets a break.

3:30 – 4:00 Snack Time

Diapering: Check diapers and change as necessary.

Eating and mealtimes: help children wash hands and eat snack.

Wash hands after eating.

4:00 – 5:00 Outdoor Play

Dressing: Help children put on outerwear before going outdoors.

Outdoor play: Check the playground environment and equipment. Play balls, running, play with friends, and so on.

Dressing: Help children take off outerwear and hang up.

4:30 – 6: 00 Daycare

Activities, Reading books, Story.

Diapering: Check diapers and change as necessary.

Dressing: Send home wet or soiled clothing and bedding.

Hellos and Good-byes: Help children and families reconnect at the end of the day. Greet each parent and share something special about their child’s day.

Clean up the class room. Clean the floor. Make bleach solution.
